Mudcat Designs

Caitlin "Mudcat" Flint was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. From a young age, she showed a propensity for drawing on anything she could get her hands on: paper, books, walls. At age 6, she joined a gifted art program and began channeling her artistic expression. She continued her art education up to and through out her time at Dartmouth College in Hanover NH. Her Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Japanese serves as much inspiration for her second minor in Studio Art.

After graduation, Caitlin returned to New Orleans, where her work in the French Quarter and her explorations in the unique city serve to inspire her to continue to create.  She enjoys exploring new themes and styles of art as the mood strikes.

When not painting or drawing, Caitlin spends her time playing soccer and running 5K’s throughout NOLA. At home, her cats, Calliope and Melpomene, constantly bat at her brushes and pens; making every work a joint effort.
